What we're doing

Kayfabe.ink is an independent publication launched in October 2025 featuring affectionate, irreverent recaps of wrestling events! We're not interested in the behind-the-scenes machinations or how the business works. Plenty of other people are covering those beats very well anyway. We're here for the kayfabe. The wild storylines. The over-the-top characters. The preening. The boasting. The "Oh my God did you see that?!" moments.

We love wrestling because it's fun. It brings us joy, and we want to share that joy. Because can all use a little more joy right now!

Also, let's be frank--there are a lot of storylines happening over a lot of different wrestling shows, and it's hard to keep up on everything. Unless you've got us in your inbox!

We're starting slow as we find our feet. We'll initially be covering Chaotic Wrestling (our hometown promotion) and other New England-based indies. Subscriptions are free, and Chaotic content will remain free even when we (eventually) launch paid subscriptions.

We covered a few episodes of WWE Evolve, and while we're not ruling out continuing, we just found it...not as fun as indie wrestling. Don't get us wrong--they've got great talent at Evolve. But corporate wrestling is just never going to be as weird as indie wrestling. We're open to changing out minds should we get a ton of subscribers, but since we're currently doing this only for fun, we're gonna go where the most fun is!

Signing up for a subscription lets us know you're interested in the kind of thing we do, which will give us the confidence to make the leap to creating drastically more content! There are a lot of wrestling shows out there, and we'd cover them all if we could! And maybe we can, if enough people subscribe!
