Hey folks! Thanks for supporting my newsletter experiment! I am bringing this particular newsletter to a close, but if you like my Chaotic Wrestling wrapups, I will continue writing them, and you can find them here. I've got ideas for several other wrestling-related writing projects. I'
I'm trying something a little different with this post. I'd love to hear your thoughts! Email me at brendan@brendanhalpin.com or just text me, since I'm pretty sure I know everyone on the subscriber list personally! Whew! I’m back from a whirlwind
Some celebrate the end of summer by picking at the leavings of departing college students on Allston Christmas. Others mark the end of summer with one last trip to the beach, the mountains, or the lake. But Chaotic Nation descended once more upon Everett Massachusetts for Summer of Slams 4!
Rich Palladino kicked things off with the announcement that Jaleesa was hors de combat after being assaulted by Brian Fury at the last show and that Alex from New England Pro Wrestling Academy would be filling in. We all hoped that Fury wouldn’t show up and vent his fury
The Octagon! Terrible 1980 movie starring Lee Van Cleef and Chuck Norris! Also where MMA fights occur! Also, inexplicably, the shape of the ballroom at the Irish American Club in Malden, MA! (Fear not, Chaotic Faithful: all the action was in the squared circle! And sometimes at ringside! And a

On Sunday, we ventured to Cisco Brewing in New Bedford, Massachusetts (City motto: At Least We’re Not Fall River!) for Live Pro Wrestling’s Cisco Slam V! (We kid! New Bedford’s city motto is actually Did You Know We Used To Kill Whales?) It was a warm summer
Brockton, Massachusetts! Home of boxing champions Rocky Marciano and Marvin Hagler, and also a race car driver from the 1930’s named Bumpy Bumpus! I am not making this up! Anyway, there was no boxing or racing on the agenda on June 26: just wrestling, as Pro Wrestling Supershow presented
Tewksbury Massachusetts, home of the Public Health Museum, was once visited by President Andrew “Forget about the Trail of Tears, put me on the 20!” Jackson, but good things happen there as well! Like Chaotic’s Next Level event! We began with Rich Palladino back on the in-ring mic
